Sherita is a very active community minded woman that seeks to make a difference in the lives of youth.  She is currently employed in the pharmaceutical industry but her passion outside of work is helping children and youth to dream big!  She is the leader and organizer of Girls Intended for Greatness a program for girls 12-18 supported by the National Council of Negro Women (Memphis/Shelby County Section) where she has created workshops and mentored girls for over 7 years. She is involved in the National Go Red for Women movement with the American Heart Association and for the past 6 years has joined the Circle of Red and has served on their Executive Leadership Team raising over $15,000.  Sherita is a Board Member of Collage Dance Collective, Memphis’ premiere professional African-American ballet company and she serves on the Board of Directors for Porter-Leath in Memphis TN. She is also an active and engaged member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and The River City Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.
